Thalapathy goes by the name of Varisu. The screenplay and language for Vijay’s 66th movie, a Tamil action drama directed by Vamsi Paidipally, were written by Telugu writer Hari, Ahishor Solomon, and Vivek (a lyricist). Along with Yogi Babu, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, and many others in supporting parts, the film stars Thalapathy Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, and Shaam in the key roles.
With lyrics penned by Vivek, the songs for this movie were sung by Vijay, Silambarasan, Anirudh Ravichander, Jonita Gandhi, and K S Chithra. Thaman S created the music and background soundtrack. The film was edited by Praveen K. L., and Karthik Palani handled the cinematography. This movie was made by Dil Raju and Shirish for Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinemas. Varisu was distributed throughout south India and someplace in the north by Red Giant Movies and Seven Screen Studios.
The working title of the film is Thalapathy 66, and it was initially confirmed in September 2021. This is Vijay’s 66th movie overall, and his 66th in a key role. Principal photography began in April 2022 and was completed in December. The majority of the movie was shot in Chennai and Hyderabad, with sporadic sessions in Visakhapatnam, Bellary, and Ladakh.
Varisu Movie Story Plot
The protagonist of Varisu, played by Thalapthy Vijay, is a jovial man named Vijay Rajendran. It is similar to an urban famous family sitcom. His character’s circumstances changed after his foster father inexplicably died, and he now found himself in command of a multibillion-dollar corporate kingdom. He faced a number of sins and disasters between this journey and the one that came after. Yogi Babu and Anand Raj will construct the film in a hilarious manner to get the audience cheering.
Varisu Movie 2023 Release Date
The movie Varisu is slated for release in theatres on January 11, 2023, during Pongal week, clashing with Thunivu. The Hindi and Telugu versions of the movie will be dubs; the Telugu version will be called Vaarasudu.

Varisu Movie 2023 Trailer
In contrast to a movie starring a famous person, Varisu’s trailer pretty much gives away the entire story. Vijay, who has two older brothers, is the main character of a large joint family story. The patriarch of the joyful family is played by Sarathkumar, and the conflict arises when the father of the main character’s antagonist seeks to destroy the entire family because of a business rival. Vijay’s character must struggle to put the family back together when it is torn apart using both intelligence and muscle.
A strong competitor to Ajith’s Thunivu is Varisu. The former is an action movie with Ajith playing a character with grey undertones, which would be a major treat for his fans, whereas Varisu has all the makings of a classic commercial entertainer and may wind up drawing audiences from all walks of life.
