Love Hostel Story Plot:
Ahmed and Jyoti have decided to spend the rest of their lives together because they are completely in love. Knowing that their families will not approve because they are of different religions, the couple decides to elope and marry in secret. They are now being pursued by Vijay Singh Dagar, a ruthless mercenary who will not stop until he has found and “corrected” them.
Love Hostel Review:
Shanker Raman creates a world to explore the dark side of Haryana, but in order to keep things short and gritty, he fails to build any sort of tension through the narrative. You don’t root for either of the leads because the director fails to elicit sympathy for them due to a lack of characterization. Too many subplots deviate from the main premise, which is a major spoiler. While the first hour has some spark, the entire build-up falls apart in the final 45 minutes. Bobby Deol’s character is also underdeveloped, as there was a need to spend more time crafting a backstory for a serial killer like him, who is riding the rails.
